Last year with the help of many volunteers and businesses\, the donations received during the food drive were able to feed approximately 500 families within the Elkhorn\, Bennington\, Waterloo\, and Valley area. The Western Douglas Chamber of Commerce extends its thanks to everyone who continues to help make this event a success.\n\n\n\n\n\nVolunteers needed:\n\n\n\nThursday December 14th 9:00 am-12:00 pm: Food collection from all of the area schools will begin and with the help of volunteers will be taken to DC West Elementary and Bethany Lutheran Church to be sorted and packed \n\n \n\nFriday December 15th 10:00 am-12:00 pm: Volunteers will Sort & Pack Food Baskets at Bethany Lutheran Church\, 4200 N 204th St.\, Elkhorn\, NE\n\n \n\nFriday December 15th 2:00 pm-4:00 pm: Volunteers will fill the Food Baskets at Bethany Lutheran Church\, 4200 N 204th St.\, Elkhorn\, NE\n\n \n\nFriday December 15th 2:00 pm-4:00 pm: Volunteers will fill the Food Baskets at DC West Elementary in Valley\n\n \n\nSaturday December 16th 9:00 am-10:30 am: Volunteers are needed at two locations to deliver the Food Baskets from Bethany Lutheran Church\, 4200 N 204th St.\, Elkhorn\, NE or DC West Elementary School\, Valley\, NE to the recipients.
